My next event will be the Fort Madison Mexican Fiesta est. 1921, only on Friday and Saturday night though due to my work schedule. I've been busy working on fruit since they take several days to dry but I'll have a large assortment of candies ready by then as well. Fingers crossed that we'll have slightly cooler days this year!

I didn't get a basket photo this time, but let's see what Cindy won!
Wild blueberries, regular and berry Skedaddles, candy corn marshmallows, blueberry cheesecake ice cream, Dork Clusters, strawberries with cherries, peach powder, Em n Ems, Happy Farmers, Fairheads, Row Lups, and buttered popcorn taffy. Yum!!

I want to thank everyone that donated their time and money to help care for the cats and dogs at the PAW Fort Madison Animal Shelter! It's also inspiring that half of the names entered into this raffle didn't contact me at all, they were noticed by others who let me know. Not that people only do good for recognition, but I hope that seeing your generosity inspires others. With that being said, congratulations Cindy! I'm sending you a dm about collecting your prize.

Rainbow Caterpillars🌈🐛
Any suggestions on a better name? It's the one name that doesn't hint at what it actually is since it contains zero caterpillars. I know, bummer lol. The tie-dye flavor is leaving with the artificial colors. When I started they were what I used, hence the name. But what are they? The fruit leather is unwrapped, filled with either cotton candy or marshmallow creme and crushed candies, wrapped back up, and dried for 12 hours. They come out as the big 'ol caterpillars that you see with a light, crispy filling and packed with fruity flavor. They are my longest prep candies but have also been one of the prettiest! Once my colorful supply is exhausted, at least for now, they will only be red or blue. So what do you think, change the name or keep the original?

Candy basket for the auction at Pinnacle to raise money for my nephew who's baby was born with a serious heart condition. One of the great things about small towns is people coming together in times of need. Coworkers, family, even complete strangers pray, donate, help in any other way they can, and it's a beautiful thing to see.

I've decided to raffle off a basket with a min $75 value for pickup. I'm making a number of ways to get your name in the drawing so that as many people as possible can participate. You'll earn one entry for helping in the morning or afternoon, two if you do both on the same day. One entry for every $10 in cash or donated supplies, two entries for every $10 of a monthly recurrent donation set up through their website. Becoming a foster or adopting will give you 5 entries.
