😃 A little mid-week pick me up for you.
Maple has quite the following…
🐕 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓 🐓

This is a routine that occurs multiple times a day (every time Maple gets let out). Maple eases down the side of the building to see if she can sneak up on a squirrel and all the chickens follow her right down there. It’s a sweet and funny sight 👀 . Once they figure out they aren’t getting any food from her 🤨 , they turn around and run to the real feeder, lol.
It never gets old 💛

Laying a speckled brown but she’s definitely not giving me 3 in one day. Now I’m Curious 🧐
And these green eggs are never quite the same. Makes for a sweet surprise 🥰 🪺 🤗

🟤 —> These ✌🏼chicks come from a green Egger hen a Crested Cream Legbar roo. They could lay green or blue eggs.

🟡 —> This ☝🏼chick hatched from an Olive green/speckled egg and comes from an olive Egger hen (she is mixed with pure Lavendar Ameraucana/Bresse) and pure Lavendar Ameraucana roo. Will lay green/olive/mint colored eggs.

Meet the flock time.

😍 This is one of the cockerels from my hatch back in January. I have not named him but he is super sweet and I am still debating on letting him go. Mom lays a blue/ green egg and dad, a crested cream Legbar, has the blue gene. They are also in the video. I will post the pullet version of him a little later.
Ps. I know he isn’t going to answer me, lol.
