🍕 10 YEARS. TWO BUSINESSES. ONE VERY SUSPICIOUS COINCIDENCE. 👀

On September 3, 2016, Oozlefinch + Flame and Pie BOTH officially opened for business. Flame and Pie was right here with us, serving pizzas at our Grand Opening for THEIR Grand opening also.

For the last decade, we’ve had the absolute privilege of growing up alongside each other. Two small local businesses finding our footing, growing within our industries, feeding (and hydrating 😏) a whole lot of Hampton Roads along the way, and continuing a partnership that goes all the way back to Day One.

But……while digging through the archives for PLANET X: THE OOZLEVERSARY, our investigators uncovered something we can no longer ignore…

🍕 Pizza is round.
🍕 Pizza is flat.
🍕 Pizza has a clearly defined outer crust.
🍕 And no one has EVER produced photographic evidence of someone falling off the edge.

As preparations continue for PLANET X: THE OOZLEVERSARY, our team has been authorized to relay information about the additional activity occurring around Fort Monroe throughout next weekend. Officials insist the timing of these events is unrelated. Our intel says otherwise.

🌊 INCIDENT 0️⃣1️⃣ // HIGH-SPEED WATERCRAFT DETECTED

For the 100th year, the Hampton Cup Regatta returns to Mill Creek. Organizers claim they’ve been “scaring fish out of the water since 1926.” But after 100 years of repeatedly circling the same small body of water at extremely high speeds, we’re starting to wonder... What exactly are they TRYING TO KEEP DOWN THERE? Official records call them “hydroplanes.” Our files say “Surface Containment Units.” We’ll let you decide what these so-called boat races are really all about.

⏱️ Operations typically conclude around 4–5PM, dependent on weather and race conditions.

Additional surveillance has revealed a temporary network of operatives assembling directly beside Oozlefinch on Sunday mornings.

They arrive with tents and unidentified goods on tables (some sources claim the tables contain locally grown produce, handmade goods, and artisanal products). Civilians approach; exchanges are made. And by afternoon, the entire operation has vanished.

Officials refer to this as the "Harvest Market at Oozlefinch." But with heightened Planet X activity occurring just yards away, we have to ask: Are they selling goods…or are the goods how they identify each other? 🛸

Until further notice, all tomatoes should be considered suspicious.
