Here's everyone's favorite Recorded Grade dry yearling Hillaire Farm Roscommon Rose! Rosie is Alice's goat and not only is she pretty but she also has an awesome personality. There's a lot of substance to her and she's really starting to pull herself together. No matter how Rosie freshens she'll always have a spot here as Alice's showmanship goat. We can't wait for her "wedding" to M's Sagebrush PL Smooth As Ice will be the event of the Fall that will certainly be tiktok worthy!

Who doesn't love sunset pictures of goats...

Introducing one of our '26 keeper kids Hillaire Farm EclipseOfDaHeart. Eclipse is out of CH Hillaire Farm WhisperOfDaHeart sired by Ober-Boerd Thank U, Next! The heart line is known for their length throughout and Eclipse is no different. She's by far one of our favorite junior does in the barn right now. Last week she was Grand Champion in both rings at the Dutchess County Fair, earning her restricted leg. For those wondering, Eclipse is quite light in color especially when her hair is grown out so we registered her as a grade. We may not have the deepest bay colored Oberhasli but we aren't afraid to register them with brown papers when needed!

Let's show off another dry yearling. This is Hillaire Farm Vaya Con Dios. We appreciate for her balance. Balance is big with us and she's got it! She's not the biggest or longest doe in the barn but she doesn't fail to catch our eye when in or outside the show ring. We are dyinggggg to see her fresh in the Spring!

Maybe tomorrow we should introduce everyone to a keeper kid from this year 🤔

Let's keep the dry yearling train going. Pictured is Hillaire Farm BattleOfDaHeart. Baddie as she's called in the barn (appropriately so) is so elegant and dairy and has all the right parts to be a doe to watch for in the coming years. This CH Hillaire Farm WhisperOfDaHeart x Ober-Boerd Battle Dagger (Elite) daughter is everything we wanted from that breeding and more. She's being bred to Hillaire Farm Vinland Saga this fall.

We finally got around to picturing our junior does! We might've waited until sunset but we got em! This dry yearling has been such a headache this year. Conformationally we love her, her substance of bone, Crazy Width throughout, high and wide escutcheon and her balance. Unfortunately when we clipped her this spring we realized she was dealing with a zinc deficiency that caused her whole back and behind her legs to be white. We have been treating her since then and although she still had color issues at nationals, we finally have turned the corner and are seeing a real change in her coat color. This is one we can't wait to see fresh in the spring.

CH Hillaire Farm AnthemOfDaHeart was 1st under Toy and 2nd under Hitch.

CH (pend) Hillaire Farm Gossip Monger was 3rd and 4th. She wasn't feeling wonderful today.

Our Oberhasli girls then went on to earn Best Dairy Herd of Show! (2nd year in a row earning that honor)

We love the flower background at Dutchess, maybe the grass could be shorter but we promise, their feet and pasterns aren't too shabby 😉💅🏻
