🚨 Babcock Ranch Boil Water Notice 🚨
We've received a lot of questions today about what a boil water notice means, so we wanted to share some helpful information.
A boil water notice is issued when there is a possibility that harmful microorganisms could be present in the water distribution system. Boiling water is recommended because it kills bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that could make you sick.
⭐️ If you're a Water Health Solutions customer:
💧 Whole Home Purification System with UV
If your home has one of our whole home purification systems equipped with a UV light, your system is designed to inactivate bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms as water enters your home. As long as your system is operating properly and has been maintained, it provides an additional layer of protection during situations like this.
💧 Waterline Technology Drinking Water System (HFC + CMF)
If you have one of our high-flow Waterline Technology drinking water systems with the NSF P231-certified CMF (Charged Membrane Filter) cartridge, your drinking water is protected by a certified microbial barrier designed to retain bacteria, viruses, and protozoan cysts—the types of microorganisms that boil water notices are intended to address.
❓ Not sure what system you have?
Send us a message or give us a call! We're happy to look up your installation or help you identify your system so you know exactly what protection you have. (239) 728-7154
These situations are also a good reminder that water quality can change unexpectedly. While we all hope boil water notices are rare, having the right treatment system in place provides peace of mind every day—not just during emergencies.
Our goal has always been simple: to help our neighbors enjoy cleaner, healthier, more reliable water.
Stay safe, Babcock! 💙
