God is GOOD all the time and ALL the time God is GOOD!

I just want to give a quick shout out to one of my newest customers who has been following my content for a while.
A week ago, she reached out to me about making a Caramel Biscoff cake and of course I gladly accepted her request.
But it was what happened next that really touched my heart.

Ms. Leslie Dorange contacted me to tell me how much she and her family loved the Biscoff cake that she ordered a Red Velvet cake for her husband a week later.
During pick up yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet her husband and we had a great conversation and when he said that the Biscoff cake was so good it was “Like a saxophone playing in his ear.” I was like WOW!!!
What a compliment!!!!☺️☺️☺️☺️

So, I just wanted to say thank you,
Ms. Leslie and to your family for your support and for entrusting me to provide you with 💯 homemade desserts made from the 💜.
Your words/compliments really matters to me and I am honored to have you as a customer with Empress Delectable Delites.

Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!

In spite of the inclement weather conditions, Empress Delectable Delites still had a successful (SOLD OUT) Red Velvet Chicken and Waffles in honor of Go Red for Sickle Cell.

Today, I paid homage to my beloved late sister Kimberly, who passed away 13yrs ago from complications of
Sickle Cell Disease.
Just like the color Red Velvet, Kimberly was BOLD and like the symbolism of the Chicken, she was COURAGEOUS!
Sickle Cell impacted her life in a great way, but she didn’t let it stop her from doing what she loved.
She fought hard to get through her 46th birthday and 2 days later,
God gave her eternal life with Him FREE of PAIN, PILLS, SUFFERING and LIMITATIONS!! 🕊️😇🙏🏾🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

So, I want to say THANK YOU, to those of you who supported this initiative and to those of you who purchased the meals to donate to others- (Sheila) and Todd Thomas

I was very grateful to see our very own Mr Gary Bostic stop by and purchased some for a few of his youths and his wife.
A big SHOUT OUT to Todd for sharing the flyer and for the contribution.
Your sharing of the flyer garnered the attention and support of Representative Cyndi Banyai.
What a pleasant surprise to meet her and her friend and become acquainted.

😮‍💨It’s only the 3rd day of the month and I feel like I’ve been running around for 2 weeks.

Anyway, it’s also the 3rd day of National Sickle Cell Awareness Month and we are in full swing.

In honor of Sickle Cell Awareness Month, Empress Delectable Delites
is sponsoring a Go Red! Red Velvet Chicken and Waffles in memory of the Late Kimberly J. Wilson at the Lotus of Village Walk Clubhouse.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT! 🚨

It takes a community to create change, and we're grateful for the organizations and partners standing with us to EDUCATE, EMPOWER & ADVOCATE for our SWFL Sickle Cell Warriors.

Today, we're recognizing these organizations for supporting our mission and helping us continue raising awareness for sickle cell disease.
Community partnerships help us extend our reach, strengthen our programs, and remind families affected by sickle cell disease that they have a community standing beside them.

We are proud to recognize these organizations for their continued support of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Lee and Collier Counties.

Happy Monday everyone!

Did you know that Florida has the HIGHEST number of SCD cases in the United States??🤔🧐
And New York comes in second place.
Do YOU know your status, or the status of your significant other, or your children??????

Tomorrow, is the first day of September which is also
National Sickle Cell Awareness Month.
As you know, I have successfully planned monthly community
Chat & Chew lunch and learn events that has garnered the attention of individuals, organizations and healthcare professionals in the
SWFL community.
I am extremely proud of what has come from this.

As a reminder, the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Lee and Collier Co.
are having a community Chat & Chew on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 that's sponsored by Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
It is my hopes that you and your family/friends will participate in this incredible event.
We will be well informed about the ground-breaking Gene Therapy and the future of curing ALL sickle cell patients.

In addition, we will also honor and recognize two special nurses who have been instrumental in caring and serving the lives of some of our sickle cell clients who are Warriors in heaven 🕊️🙏🏾 😇and we will also have a candle lighting memorial table to pay tribute to the lives of the sickle cell warriors that are no longer with us.

We would also like to send a special thank you to Pastors Rev. Ed Kelly at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. Larry Wimbush at Jerusalem Baptist Church for hosting
“Sickle Cell Sunday” at their churches ⛪️ in support of the Sickle Cell community.

September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month, designated by Congress to help focus attention on the need for research
and treatment of sickle cell disease.

On behalf of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Lee County,
we encourage our SWFL community to be a part of this annual effort to increase awareness about sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait during the month of September.

Individuals and organizations can join our efforts to bring attention to sickle cell disease by engaging elected officials for proclamations, hosting awareness events, distributing educational information to dispel the myths about sickle cell disease, and lighting public spaces, buildings and landmarks red!

We would like to invite you to attend our September Awareness "Chat & Chew" luncheon sponsored by Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Wanda Vazquez, MBA- will be our guest speaker for this event, as she is the Patient Educator for Vertex.
It is my hopes that MORE individuals in our community will participate in this educational event.
