Know where your food comes from!

With all these scary recalls and now talk of "eggs" being made without actual chickens, it's time to get back to knowing exactly where our food is coming from.

This isn't about saying all store bought items are bad because I will definitely still be making a trip to Walmart, but if I can buy something local, I most certainly will!

What came first the chicken or the egg? I don't know, but I do know you need a chicken in order for me to eat the egg!

Second year in a row we've overdone it on the cherry tomatoes, but no complaints here. They're great for sauces and salsas. Thinking about freezing some to use for soups or sauces without having to can a ton right now.

We're so thankful for a healthy garden this year. Fresh vegetables, time spent outside, and watching everything grow makes all the hard work worth it.

Our corn is getting close, and we can't wait to enjoy it and hopefully share it with some of y'all! 🌽💚
