We made a name for ourselves with our Chicken Salad in Florida and I am so happy that we are making ourselves known again for it!

We make it fresh every morning 🌄, with fresh herbs 🌿, and crunchy celery.

Meet Kari — our friend, our prayer warrior partner, and our BIGGEST Cold Brew fan around. 💛 Little did we know God's plan of us coming to Fort Payne started 5 years ago, when she and ger family entered our Florida stor... a friendship began. That’s exactly why on our menu, it proudly says “Kari’s Cold Brew.”

Kari literally walked in with this pitcher. We were closed for 2 days, and she wasn't going to be without!

So what makes it so special?
Our Cold Brew is lightly sweetened and uniquely roasted with the crust from our cheesecakes. 🤯🍰

The result? A smooth, rich flavor that’s unlike anything else and seriously SO good.

This is going to be a straight from the heart kind of post, completely raw.

As a new business in the community, we value every single person who comes into the store. We take pride in what we serve, the value, the quality, and the service we provide. We try and visit every table that dines in with us to make sure everything is good. We may not be able to visit a table if we are busy.

It is important for our customers to let us know how we are doing. If you are not happy with your visit, we want to know, we want to try and fix it. We truly do not want anyone to leave less than happy.

Please ask to speak to Kane or myself. Please do not leave the restaurant and just leave a not so nice review.
I know we can't make everyone happy, but if I don't know what is wrong, we can't correct or fix it. There is always room for improvement.

We are beyond honored and grateful to be named Best of DeKalb’s New Business and Best Desserts — especially only 6 weeks after opening our doors here in Fort Payne!

As many of you know, Kane took me away for Mother's Day. I was super excited cause I knew we were going to dinner, but I had a surprise after. I love surprises like this, and I honestly had no idea. Everyone else did.

We went to an amazing restaurant, in Birmingham. It was probably the best steak I have had out when in Alabama.

After, Kane brought me to a concert, Alabama. I was beyond excited and pretty impressed... Kane doesn't like concerts AT ALL!! I had so much fun, until about 2 hours in.

I started to experience major pain. I thought I seriously ruptured something. As some of you know, I had gastric bypass surgery 20 years ago. I do not eat more than an egg size, but ate 3/4 of the steak. Scared me to death!

We left early and another 2 hours later, I was in the ER.... kidney stones. Ugh!

We were so bummed cause, to be honest, we were just excited for some quiet, no alarms, uninterrupted SLEEP! We spent 6 hours in UAB, slept for 30 mins, had breakfast, and came home.

Regardless, it was a weekend to remember.

Something that I thought was amazing about the concert.... I respect Randy & Teddy still going today, but how they honor the American Flag and what it truly means to stand for it... absolutely impressed me beyond words. I know we live in a completely different state now, but man, what a way to open a concert!

Thank you to you all for allowing us the opportunity to close early and still showing up for us!

To all of the grandma, the God-mothers, the foster Mom's, adoptive Mom's, the ladies who just fit into a child's heart as a mom figure, Happy Mother's Day!

Being a mom is such a precious gift, but it is that hardest. You worry 24 hours a day, you try to be understanding always, you never want to loose your temper, but it happens. We are human, even though they see us as super woman.

My greatest accomplishment is my 2 children. They are beautiful human beings, not always easy, but such amazing souls.

🌸 Mother’s Day Update 🌸

This Saturday, we will be closing early at 12:30 PM so I can be a little spoiled and spend time with Kane Saturday evening and with my children for Mother’s Day 💕

As much as we love being here with all of you, these moments are so important, and I’m incredibly thankful to be able to step away and celebrate being a mom myself. 💐
