SECRET NO MORE 🎉🥰 Today, we loaded up a truck full of muscle (huge thanks Tyler, Raven, and Ben) and picked up my dream oven. We are officially a part of the Simply Bread Oven team. I’m over the moon and beyond words 😭 I never would’ve thought my little bakery would get to the point that I need a commercial oven. This wouldn’t be possible without the overwhelming support from all of you. This also wouldn’t be possible without my husband and his unwavering love. I’m blessed to know and love him with every year that goes by.
What does this mean for the bakery?
We can now bake 12+ loaves at once instead of 6.
We can bake 48 cinnamon rolls at a time.
We can bake 70+ cookies.
We can bake 48 pop tarts in 20ish minutes.
We can introduce new items we’ve had in mind for a LONG time.
And most importantly, this will keep your baker from seeing 4am every week and then getting up at 7am. This has never felt like a downside to me, I’m blessed to be overwhelmed by the business I’ve dreamed about. Even at 3 or 4 in the morning, I have loved every minute of what we do ❤️
I’m still working full time, we are not in our final stage of this journey 🙂 But this is a step towards getting there sooner rather than later while achieving a full night’s sleep. This wonderful oven will increase our output, improve our uniformity, and give us the opportunity to rest easier. Special order capacity will also increase!
We still have to wire it up and have quite the learning curve ahead but I’m always up for a challenge 💪🏻
No going back now, we’re in the sourdough business for the long haul ❤️🔥 all thanks to you guys.
