Upcoming Road and Beach Closures at Fort Pierce Jetty Park
Residents and visitors are advised of temporary closures at Fort Pierce Jetty Park as crews begin staging for the Fort Pierce Beach Renourishment Project.

Key Details:
Seaway Drive / Jetty Park / Parking Lot: Portions will be closed starting Wednesday, March 11.

South Jetty & Adjacent Beaches: Closed Friday, March 14 – Monday, March 23 for initial construction and safety.

Project Scope: Manson Construction, hired by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will place approximately 400,000 cubic yards of sand along one mile of shoreline immediately south of Fort Pierce Inlet.

Schedule: Renourishment work will occur 24/7, including weekends and holidays, with periodic closures continuing until mid-May.

Safety Reminder:
Please follow all posted signs and do not enter closed areas. These measures are in place for your safety and to protect construction efforts.

Why This Project Matters:
Reduces storm damage to homes and businesses.
Improves coastal habitat for marine life.
Helps offset long-term beach erosion.
