🐖 Planning Ahead for Winter Pork 🐖

We’re getting ready to make some decisions about how many pigs we’ll put on feed over the winter, and we need your help planning ahead!

Our purebred Berkshire piglets are born and raised right here on our farm, and the pigs reserved for freezer pork will be ready for processing in early March.

We are now accepting reservations for:

• Whole hog — $700
• Half hog — $375

These are all-in prices, including the price of the hog plus processing fees.

Reservations are held with a $100 deposit for a whole hog or a $50 deposit for a half hog. The remaining balance will be due when your pork is ready for pickup.

📅 Reservations are due by September 30.

After September 30, any additional piglets will be made available as feeder pigs to other farms, so your reservation helps us determine how many pigs to raise for our freezer-pork customers this winter.

If you’d like to reserve a whole or half hog for early spring, send us a message or contact the farm to reserve your share.

Plan ahead now and know that locally raised Berkshire pork will be waiting for your freezer in March!

🥩 Beef Shares Now Available 🥩

Due to a last-minute change in plans, we now have a limited opportunity to purchase beef from the Red Angus Market Steer my son has been working with and exhibiting at beef shows this summer. Our loss can be your gain!

The steer is scheduled for processing on October 1st, and we currently have:

• 1/4 share — $1,000
• 1/8 share — $525

These are all-in prices, including the beef plus processing fees.

The steer will be processed at a USDA-inspected facility. Customers who reserve their share by September 30th will have the option to provide a custom cut sheet for their portion.

This is a great opportunity to put locally raised beef in your freezer while supporting our small family farm. And if you've seen this steer at the shows this summer, you know you're getting a good-looking steer who has been well-loved!

For more information or to reserve a share, send us a message here on Facebook or call the farm phone number listed in the photo.

Only one 1/4 share or two 1/8 shares are available.
