We thought for sure all that walking would put Rosie in labor, but she is in fact still very pregnant!

We were hoping she would have her calf before we leave for camp, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

We have some wonderful Amish friends who always stay at the farm while we are gone. They will be sure to update us with photos if anything happens 🫶🏻

🌿 A Bittersweet Announcement… We’re Moving!

After a lot of thought we have officially committed to a huge decision… We close on a new property and are moving to Cooperstown at the end of summer.

This has not been a quick decision. For the last year we’ve been considering a move but couldn’t commit to it without finding the perfect property first.

Our farm gave us a taste of something we simply couldn’t ignore… freedom. The ability to work together, be present with our kids, and build something meaningful from home changed us in ways we never expected.

But as much as we love it here, we’ve also felt limited in what we can create and fully do.

We’ve been looking for a while now in Cooperstown and the perfect farm finally became available that checks most of our boxes, a place that will allow us to dream bigger, design, create, and continue doing what we love with more land, more farm stays, more opportunities, and more room to grow. We put in an aggressive offer because we knew this was the place, and it was accepted. ❤️

This move will allow us to continue creating something we love with a lifestyle that feels more intentional for our family. Our busy season will keep us working hard for part of the year, and the quiet off season months will allow us to hit the road and let our kids explore the world which has always been the goal.

While this all feels right, it definitely isn’t easy on our hearts. Our property holds so many memories for us. Our childhood memories are here together. Our children’s memories are here. Our girls were even born here. Leaving the place that shaped so much of our lives is incredibly bittersweet and heavy.

To our local supporters thank you for being part of our story. Thank you for supporting our farm, our dreams, and our family.

And to our farm stay guests who travel from near and far to support us nonstop thank you, but this is not the end! Your support means more than you know, and we are so so excited for you to see what we have in store for you in this next chapter.

This isn’t goodbye it’s just the beginning of a new adventure, and we’re so excited for the journey.

We’ve had many questions about the property itself. While the Amish do have interest in the property, it is still currently on the market and we are taking offers. This is truly a turn-key opportunity for anyone looking to generate income right away and be successful. Our farm stays are fully booked, and we are even considering leaving some of the animals as part of the purchase to make for an easy transition and help continue the success here.

⚠️ Update!
We called Skywatch Drone Search and Recovery and he found them in minutes a couple miles away. We walked them home and they are tucked in tight now!
Thank you for everyone’s help❤️❤️❤️

PLEASE SHARE ⚠️

Our Highland cows got out tonight and we spent all night searching with no luck. We’ll be back out looking again first thing in the morning, but we are asking everyone in the area to please keep an eye out for them.

They were last seen at River Road on the bottom of Sanders around 8 PM Saturday.

One of our girls is VERY pregnant and due any day, so we are especially worried and just want to get them home safely.
While our cows are friendly, please don’t approach them because they are probably stressed.

If anyone sees them or has any information at all, please call or text us immediately at 518-332-4850.

We also want to mention that a white truck with a cattle trailer was seen in the area shortly afterward. We are not making any assumptions — we are just simply hoping our cows are found safe and we get them back home.

Thank you so much everyone!!! 🙏
