Proud sister moment. 🤍🤍
My little (5 foot taller than me) brother has spent more than 10 years as a United States Marine, making sacrifices most of us will never truly understand.I hope people remember to count their blessings, not just on the big days, but every day. Every meal, every night in your own bed, every hug from your family, every simple freedom we enjoy, because there are families like ours who spend those same moments wishing desperately that our families could be whole, while a piece of ours is away serving and protecting the freedoms we so easily take for granted. So when you hug your family tonight, remember there’s another family somewhere missing someone they love. And while you’re enjoying the freedom to live your life, someone is sacrificing theirs to protect it. That someone is my little brother, and I couldn’t be prouder of you, GySgt Gutheinz. (The one holding the plaque)
