Ok to settle the rumor mill...Kellie Kakes is still in business and will continue to be in business but she is NEEDING more notice for orders! As I'm not doing this full time but am still taking orders when Im full for the day I'm full no more last minute orders. So what I'm saying is place your order SOONER than LATER....thank you to all my customer !!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever!
Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned

As with a new year comes new changes. AS OF JAN 01, 2024 I will need 2 week notice for orders. I no longer do Kellie Kakes full time. I have a full time job and now studying to take my Ophthalmic/paraoptometric test. So my time is spent elsewhere. I'm not saying I'm done just saying I need more time for orders as I don't have spare time like I use to. Thank you to all past present future customers and appreciate your understanding with this!
