Well, i was told you can't grow luffas in Minnesota. I started the seedlings in Feb. I was told they are sensitive and don't transplant well. Well let me tell you, these plants have been so abused!! Take a peek at what is new in the farm strand. We have fresh crushed red peppers made from our cayenne peppers (they smell amazing!!), dehydrated Italian roaster peppers (awesome on grilled chicken sandwiches or Italian sausage sandwiches), sun-dried tomatoes (great for a snack or in a pasta dish), fresh ground onion powder, fresh ground cayenne pepper powder(a must have for you chili makers this winter), Farmhouse seasoning (great to sprinkle on fries, potatoes, vegetables, or mix with mayo and use as a dip), and our newest hot sauce " Datil Get Ya" made with Datil peppers, this hot sauce has a sweet citrus flavor perfect for shrimp or fish tacos, or just on a fish filet. Come check us out at 2836 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Fort Ripley. We accept Cash and Venmo.
