The BHF Office will be closed on Tuesday, May 19th and Wednesday, May 20th. I expect to be back in the office on Thursday, May 21st.

FRIENDLY REMINDER:

The website calculates exactly 60 days when determining the age of a weanling foal. The Foaling Date is Day #1.

Your fee will be more than $200 if you miss the first nomination deadline within 60 days of foaling.

Good Morning --

I am busy getting ready for the 2026 Breeders Halter Futurity.

Here are some reminders:
If you missed the first nomination date within 60 days of foaling for weanling foals or by March 1st for all older horses, the next nomination date is quickly approaching:
By June 1st for $300

If you have a Yearling and think you are eligible for the Limited Amateur Classes, please reach out to me to confirm you are on the LTD Amateur List. Please send an email to [email protected].

If you have not applied for registration papers for your foal, please do so immediately. It takes more time than you think it will and you must have registration papers to show at the BHF.

BHF Entries are due July 15th. The online Entry Program will be available very soon. The Online Entry Program is very easy to use and it is the preferred method of entering. Entry Forms will still be available on the website if you want to fill out paperwork.

BHF Stall Reservations are due by August 10th.

If you recently (or not so recently) nominated a horse to the BHF and you opted to mail a check for your payment, please remember to mail your check within 5 days. I have several outstanding invoices that need attention.

If you have changed your mind and would prefer to pay with a credit card, please reach out to me and I will add the processing fee and email an updated invoice to you.
