πŸ€ Arkansas 4-H Giving Day is here! And we have a $10,000 match from Arkansas Farm Bureau Foundation!

Today is the day supporters across the state come together to invest in the next generation of Arkansas leaders.

Every gift helps remove financial barriers so young people can participate in 4-H β€” from camps and competitions to leadership programs and scholarships.

You can also direct your gift to a program, trip or camp sponsorships, or direct to the county program that means the most to you, where every donor counts in a friendly statewide participation challenge.

One gift becomes a ripple.
And when hundreds of people join in, those ripples create opportunities for youth in every corner of Arkansas.

Join us today and be part of the ripple.

State agencies are urging Arkansans to avoid contact with wild birds due to detections of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the state.

Wild birds, especially migrating waterfowl, are the primary source of virus spread to domestic poultry. Handling sick or dead birds, or bringing them into homes, barns, or vehicles, increases the risk of transmission to people, pets, and flocks.

Staying aware and keeping your distance helps protect Arkansas agriculture and public health. Anyone who develops flu-like symptoms after exposure to birds or other animals potentially infected with HPAI should contact the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) Zoonotic Disease Section at 501-280-4136 or [email protected].
