Spring of 2017, Rhonda shows up at the office with a toddler (Mason) on her hip inquiring about a position at Porky’s Icehouse with the opening date of a June 17, 2017. She needed a schedule so she could work with the kids schedules so I hired her on the spot not knowing who this young lady was or how this was going to work. 9 years later, as a staple of the business, we are saying goodbye tomorrow as her last day will be with us so she can move to be closer to her kids. We have grown as a family, watched our kids become best friends and supported each other during troubling times. We may say goodbye tomorrow but it won’t be for long as we will see each other again. Can’t break those ties we have built. Tomorrow will be tough on all of us!!!! If you want to see Rhonda please stop by tomorrow and wish her luck in her new venture. We greatly appreciate everything you have done, we all love you and your family, and wish nothing but the best for you. Go get’em girl. Your awesome and will achieve in your next venture.
