Applications for Year 2 of the Underberg RE:CAP Art Contest close TONIGHT.

If you’ve been kicking around an idea…
If you’ve been meaning to film your application…
If you’ve been waiting for a sign…

This is your sign.

We’re looking for artists, makers, creators, DIY legends, and creative weirdos ready to transform THOUSANDS of iconic Underberg caps into something unforgettable.

🎨 Build it.
🎥 Document it.
🏆 Win it.

🚨 TO APPLY:

Send us a video application (90 seconds or less) telling us:

• Who you are
• What you’re building
• Where your finished masterpiece should live

Selected artists will receive:

✅ THOUSANDS of authentic Underberg caps
✅ A $100 project stipend
✅ A chance to win cash, exclusive Underberg prizes, and serious bragging rights

📅 CONTEST TIMELINE:

• Applications Due: June 22nd
• Caps & Stipends Ship: June 30th–July 1st
• Document your project from start to finish with photos and video
• Final Artwork Due: September 28th (Don’t forget to give your artwork a name!)
• Public Voting Begins: October 5th
• Winner Announced: October 16th

A few things:
• Keep it PG.
• Contest caps are tracked and intended for artwork submissions only. (Be cool.)
• Need more caps? Just ask.
• Additional contest details will be shared with selected artists.

Last year, artists across the country transformed thousands of Underberg caps into incredible works of art.

Right now, somewhere out there, someone is sketching an idea that could become the next legendary Underberg cap creation.

Maybe it’s a sculpture.
Maybe it’s a mural.
Maybe it’s something so weird and brilliant that nobody sees it coming.

The question is…

Will it be yours?

The RE:CAP Art Contest is back for Year 2, and we’re once again looking for artists, makers, builders, and creative minds ready to give thousands of iconic Underberg caps a second life.

🎨 Create something unforgettable.
🎥 Document the journey.
🏆 Compete for cash, prizes, and bragging rights.

🚨 HOW TO ENTER:

Submit a video application telling us:
• Who you are
• What you’re building
• Where your masterpiece should live when it’s finished

Selected artists will receive:
✅ THOUSANDS of authentic Underberg caps
✅ A $100 project stipend
✅ A chance to win cash, exclusive Underberg prizes, and eternal creative glory*

Last year, a dozen artists, makers, and creative weirdos from across the country transformed 70,000 + of iconic Underberg caps into incredible works of art.

The results blew us away! So we’re bringing the RE:CAP Art Contest back for Year 2.

Bigger ideas. More creativity. More green caps finding a second life.
