Do you notice a rotten egg smell from your well water, especially when using hot water? This may signal the presence of sulfur in the water. This issue has multiple consequences and necessitates extra treatment to resolve it. A concentration of 1-2ppm of sulfur is quite noticeable, while 5ppm can lead to nausea and other health problems. Is your water softener failing to deliver the desired results, resulting in stains or inadequate softening? The resin may be degraded, which would be visible in our black bucket. Resin typically lasts for 10-15 years, but its lifespan can be shorter depending on water quality. We recommend getting the resin changed to ensure great results and to maintain a healthy softener.

The resin we use pictured in our white bucket is high capacity resin which removes more hardness per regeneration and gives more salt efficiency.
