Fifteen new layers.. 5 leghorns, 5 mystic marans and 5 light bramas. Brandon was getting the room prepared and had it all set up out in the barn.But for some reason, the heater became unplugged and the brooder plate wasn't working. So the room was cold. Now they're in my pantry, until that room warms up.

We will be raising chicken and turkey again next year.

Took all these pictures yesterday. We've got seven that are twelve weeks old and three that are eight weeks old. Hopefully those three are all girls. We have for sure, three girls and three boys in the older group, and then we've got one that people call a girl and other people call a boy.
