Orders from the last couple weeks.
Well black Friday the hubby spotted a deal on a kitchen aid mixer so we ended up buying it. I already had 2 but what is one more.
Last night I finally took it out of the box in preparation for our family baking this Sunday. Tonight I took it for a spin with a batch of frosting. This is going to make those big orders go much smoother.
Wanted to give an update in my calendar for the next few weeks.
First I want to let you know that I do have availability for anyone who needs something for a Christmas or New Years Eve gathering. So if you need something please reach out.
The following weekends are completely full:
This coming weekend (Dec 10th & 11th)
Next weekend (Dec 17th & 18th)
The first weekend in January (Jan 7th & 8th)
Also a heads up. If you or if you know someone with a 2023 senior and will need a cake or cupcakes for their open house please think about booking early. It's $100 deposit to hold the spot. I will be limiting the amount of orders I take this year (a total of 2 a day and 3 for the whole weekend) and already have two dates full (June 3rd & 10th).

I want to apologize. A couple weeks ago I stated I would be posting holiday specials. Well I totally lost track of time and didn't get ine out for Thanksgiving next week. But I will be taking orders if anyone needs anything cupcakes or cakes for their get togethers.

Ok yesterday when I posted my order I completely forgot about orders I did for Thursday and Friday.
A sweet 16 cake and dirty 30 cupcakes.
One small order for the weekend then a quick trip to Cincinnati for a girls night.
Tried a new item, mini bundt cakes with glaze frosting. Also red velvet with raspberry filling and turtle cupcakes.
Just got home from the delivery down in Martinsville. The bride and groom love the looks of the cakes and everyone helping with the turn around from ceremony to reception gave lots of compliments. I hope they all enjoyed them when time came to eat them.

Yesterday started the process of baking for a wedding. This one was a first of its kind for me. I heard of people doing this and thought it was an unique. The bride and groom decide to do cakes as center pieces for the guest tables. So the order was for 10 8in 3 layer cakes and 1 7in 4 layer for the bride/groom table all different flavors.
Luckily my boss at my day job let me use the ovens there so baking went quick. 3 hours instead of probably 8. After I got home I made up 8 batches of frosting.
Today I came home from work crumb coated 5 and decorated 2. Went and got a massage and came back and finished up the order.
What I thought would keep me up really late I was able to finish before 10pm and kitchen cleaned up by 1015. I can't wait to post pictures tomorrow after they are set up.
Good evening everyone. I just wanted to give an update on my calendar. I will not be taking any orders this week at all. It has been a tough couple weeks and I have a big wedding order for the weekend.
I am also blocked out for the 11th-13th due to being out of town.
The remainder of 2022 is pretty well open at this time. So if you need treats for the upcoming holidays please get with me to get the order in before dates filled up.
Look for upcoming Holiday Specials to be announced sometime this week.
It has been a rough couple weeks but I made it through. Between last week and this week I had ten orders with one being down in Kokomo along with them the loss of my father in law on the 19th and the funeral this week.
I thank you all for the understanding of needing to switch times around or just being patient with me running a little late on delivering. Also for the thoughts and prayers while we were dealing with his passing.
Here are the orders from the last couple weeks.
Couple orders for today. Had a mishap with one of them last night when going to box it up. Lost a couple cupcakes and had to redo a few so made it up by making cake pops which I know they like (and from what I was told when I delivered she completely forgot that u started making them...lol). The other order was a new challenge for me. A cake made for a gentleman's wife who's favorite cheesecake is a brownie cookie dough one but he wanted it turned into a cake. Love coming up with need flavors.
Ok I know this seems crazy since we are still only in 2022 but I already have one date and possibly one weekend already booked up for June. With one person wait listed.
If you know of anyone that has a senior this year and will need help with cupcakes or a cake to celebrate let them know I am doing save the dates now.
I will only be taking a total of 2 orders for a day or 3 total for the weekend so get with me as soon as possible. There is a $100.00 deposit to hold the date.
Wow I just took my 300th order since I started doing invoices in late 2019. And 111 of those are just from this year.

Orders from the weekend. A couple milestone birthdays. A little ones "Scary One" birthday theme and a friend of our daughters 30th (her little boy picked out the design. I think he did a good job)
I want to thank everyone who bought cupcakes from the pop up sale. With the money from that and a couple cash donations you all raised $350 for the Lisa Firestine benefit.
You all are the best. With that being said. I am going to be doing a raffle with everyone's name to win a prize (yet to be determined). This will be done later this week. So stay tuned for that.

Reminder I will be on a family vacation next week but will be back with a pop up cupcake sale either starting Saturday the 17th or the week of the 19th.
This one will have a gluten free option (not sure if it will be white or chocolate) those will be $10 for half dozen ($5 still being donated) and $20 for a dozen ($10 still being donated).
For the normal ones I will have a variety pack of my candy bar/cookie inspired cupcakes: pb cup, snickers, chocolate chip cookie dough (these will be done 2 of each on half dozen & 4 of each in full dozen no changing). Also I will have the raspberry swirl and a new flavors to be announced later. Price will be the same as before $8 for half and $15 for full dozen.
Let's keep up the momentum as the 1st one and get me one step closer to my $200 goal.

I am thinking of doing variety pack of the candy/cookie flavors but will post more info when I make the final decision.
Also if there is a flavor you would like to see being offered let me know (anything except the specialty seasonal ones) and even suggestion for new flavors. This would be a good time for me to play around with them.

Please help me with a fundraiser for a family friend, Lisa Firestine. Lisa’s multiple myeloma returned after 2 years of remission. She was able to have a T-Cell transplant, but it was deemed experimental and insurance isn’t covering much of the therapy. They will be hosting a benefit in October. All proceeds from the benefit will help alleviate the cost of treatment, commutes, and housing while receiving treatment in Indianapolis.
During the month of September I will have POP UP SALES🧁 on half dozen and full dozen of cupcakes. First one will be this weekend. Flavors will be announced Saturday afternoon.
Either $5 or $10 will be donated from each sale to Lisa. My goal is to donate atleast $200 to help her out. That is just 20 dozen cupcakes.
Price for half dozen will be $8 and a full dozen will be $15.

Couple orders from this last weekend. Birthday cake for a little boy who shares my birthday. Our granddaughters 1st birthday and a coworker of my husband's birthday. Also our granddaughters 1st birthday photo shoot.

Good news! Business has been great. With that being said, my weekends are basically completely filled for the rest of August and September. I have a couple out of town weddings coming up and we will be on vacation for one week.
The next available weekend openings are not until October 7th. I am able to do orders during the week but weekends are limited. Please PM or text me if you are wanting to place an order and I will let you know if that date is available.
Also keep an eye out for pop up cupcake sales for a fundraiser I am going to do for a family friend, whose cancer came back and had a procedure down that is not covered by insurance.
Only two this weekend. A new customer wanting a Stanger Things theme with a picture of one of the characters. Never watched so had to do some searching. Then ended up having to watch to see why eggos and Christmas lights were what I was seeing...lol.
Then one od my loyals with another putting my mind to the test. A zombie/brain theme.
