With the big news coming out we just want to say, we have plenty of 2025 dates still open for full-service catering and even more for delivery & setup. We are currently fully booked on Saturday’s from May 10-June 28 for full-service with August and September not to far behind. Let’s look at the calendar and get you on the books ASAP. After much consideration, we announce the closure of our original Shigs In Pit location at2008 Fairfield Ave, effective January 18, 2025. Since opening in 2012, this location has been the heart and soul of our operations, and it’s with mixed emotions that we take this step.
Over the years, the Fairfield location has been the hub of our catering services, helping us expand and build a strong, loyal customer base. However, as we’ve grown with two additional locations, Illinois Rd and Maplecrest Rd, it has become increasingly difficult to continue operating at Fairfield. Our lease is set to expire this year, and with the cost of our rent tripling last year, challenges of an old building and small parking lot, it does not make sense for us to keep operating at this location any longer.
In the coming months, we will be consolidating our catering operations to our other two locations, which we believe will allow us to better serve our customers and streamline operations for the future. Any caterings currently booked will not be affected by these changes.
We are incredibly grateful for the years of support from our customers, employees, and the community. We are attempting to relocate employees to our other locations or assist them in their job search.
The Fairfield location will always hold a special place in our hearts as the birthplace of Shigs In Pit, and we thank everyone who has been part of its journey over the years. We look forward to continuing to serve you at our Illinois Road and Maplecrest locations and are excited for what the future holds.
Any gift cards purchased from the Fairfield location can be redeemed at any Shigs In Pit or Mad Anthony Brewing location.
