[GIFTED] I have always heard great things about Tall Rabbit Cafe + Community and honestly have been meaning to get out there earlier - but you guys know how it is, right? Work, kids, when you dont have any plans you just kind of want to chill at home… so I am more than delighted they reached out and actually scheduled a time for me and the babes to check it out before our zoo day
First off let’s emphasize: This is a cafe born from the Blue Jacket non profit we all know it love. Simply put, Blue Jacket helps adults with employment barriers to gain employment and often an opportunity that a lot of individuals don’t get. A mission we often overlook, yet so very important - so the fact that we have Blue Jacket here contributing so positively to our community is a God send honestly.
Not only is the mission amazing, the people are amazing, but also… objectively the coffee and pastries are phenomenal. They utilize Utopian coffee and Gratitude catering.
Here’s what we got:
🍊Creamsicle Cruiser - omg this might be my favorite latte I’ve ever had and I’m not joking. It’s a white chocolate ORANGE mocha with vanilla cold foam. Sweet, sour, refreshing but like with a GOOOOD amount of caffeine kick. Dreaming about this
🍒Cherry Cadillac - black cherry and vanilla latter
🍓Strawberry muffin - this was so moist and perfect and beautiful WOW
🥮Cinnamon Roll - a classic, still very delicious and warm
🥪Pesto/bacon/tomato panini - I didn’t catch the actual name of this but it was warm and crunchy and savory - the perfect lil lunch sandwich
And last but not least, some thing I really wanted to highlight, as I do occasionally work remotely for this foodie/social media gig - they have PRIVATE rooms, alcoves, meeting rooms, along with the open space. You can rent those rooms for however long you need. That is HUGE for anyone looking to hunker down and get some work done. There is literally anything for any type of business you want to complete, or you can just hang out like me with the babes and enjoy some breakfast ;)
*Oh! And the art work you see comes from their Second Chance Art program, where much of the artwork depicts a lot of the individuals lives that Blue Jacket has impacted.
