One board at a time. 🪵

Last week, we shared a look at the raw timber for Wunderwerk’s custom bar. Now, Parker of 3 Feathers Custom Woods is putting that wood through the next stage of the process.

There’s a lot of work that goes into a bar before it’s ready to serve its first b**r. This is one part of that process.

Oktoberfest dates back to 1810, and began as a royal wedding celebration that has since grown into one of the world’s best-known folk festivals.

Today, Oktoberfest brings together Bavarian food, b**r, music, and centuries-old traditions.

A little history behind a celebration that continues to bring people together. Prost! 🍻

Raw timber today. Wunderwerk’s custom bar tomorrow 🪵✨

Huge thanks to 3 Feather Custom Woods for stopping by West Main to preview the lumber. It’s on its way to his facility for production, but seeing the raw materials in person makes it all feel real.

Big things are taking shape behind the scenes.

We’ve got the first nine b**rs figured out. But apparently, the glasses have ideas of their own.

Rauchbier. Hefeweizen. Radler. Kölsch. Just a few of the ideas that have come up from the community so far.

What would you put in the glass?

Anthony of Wildwoods Grill is getting the kitchen floor ready for refinishing as the renovation moves along.

There’s still work to be done, but we’re getting closer to putting the space to work.

Altbier is a traditional German-style b**r from the Düsseldorf region, known for its clean, crisp character and balanced malt profile.

It’s a style built around balance, with enough malt character to give it depth and a crisp finish that makes it easy to come back to.

It’s a great example of how much can come from getting the fundamentals right.

Before Wunderwerk, John and Casey were both professional brewers.

When the opportunity came to build something of their own, they decided to take the leap.

They knew how to make b**r. Now they had the chance to build the kind of brewery they wanted to be part of.
One where the b**r is made with care. Where quality matters. And where people feel welcome when they walk through the door.

John and Casey bring different strengths to the brewery, but share the same goal: make great b**r and create a place worth coming back to.
