We’ve been busy this year and have launched our new website. Yay 😀! https://www.tanglewoodberryfarm.com/
Visit our new site to find our current hours of operation, crop status and farm stand prices. You can also sign up for email alerts & promotions or place an online order for pre-picked fruit.
Also new this year — the option of pick-your-own blueberries, raspberries and strawberries in addition to the blackberries. We’re excited about being able to offer everyone the chance to experience each berry plant up close and harvest fruit at its peak of ripeness.
Our current crop estimates for the 2019 season are:
raspberries: only a fall crop is expected from this young planting
blueberries: good yield
strawberries: limited spring crop due to winter cold injury
blackberries: fair to good yield
Tanglewood Berry Farm has made the tough decision to close down the blackberry picking until next season. We truly appreciate your support and business. Based on customer response, we are planning to expand our strawberry and blueberry plantings so that next year we can offer U-pick blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. We will have organic tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers for sale at the farm stand on Saturdays from 8 am - 2 pm through September.
The blackberry U-pick field is closed until August 1 for repairs. No blackberries will be for sale until August 1. Strawberries & blueberries are still available to purchase at the farm stand. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Hey all! Due to weather and high demand, we have a limited supply of our strawberries and blueberries. The optimal time to come buy either or would be in between the first 2 hours of being open. Sorry for any inconvenience!
We've had many calls about u-picking strawberries. Unfortunately we do not have them for u-picking right now. We may be able to open the u-pick area in 6-8 weeks depending on the weather. So stay tuned!
We do have a limited amount of strawberries for sale at the market stand. We'll put the OPEN sign out when some are available. Look for us to open July 1 for blackberry u-picking and pre-picked blackberries, blueberries & strawberries.
Monday & Tuesday: closed
Wed: 8 am - 8pm
Thursday & Friday: 8 am - noon
Saturday: 8 am - 8 pm
Sunday: noon - 4 pm
Strawberries are sold out for the day. We will have 8 -10 quarts tomorrow. We’ll open at Sunday at 10am & close when they’re gone. Thank You to all our customers!!
**Strawberry U-Pick Opening Delayed Due to Weather**
TBF is disappointed to find the hot temperatures have taken a heavy toll on fruit quality of the everbearing cultivars in the U-Pick area. We’ll be renovating the plants & hope for cooler weather to promote flowering & fruiting later this summer. We’ll keep you posted! In the meantime, fruit from our June-bearing plants is still excellent quality & should be available for another week. The market stand will be open Friday & Saturday 10 am - 5 pm for fresh picked strawberry sales.
