This song always reminds me of when we opened Base Camp Deli. We stayed open late to appeal to the next door. We would@listen to this song loud and mop and clean for the next day!!!
The picture you see here is the beautiful food my husband makes for me on a typical night around the Phillips household. I miss the deli but I am super happy to have my chefy husband cooking for me again!!!

✨Man Behind the Brand✨

While I run most of the day to day operations of Best Buckin’ Jerky, there’s one person without whom none of this would be possible — my husband. ❤️

He’s not just my partner in life — he’s the official taste tester, the guy behind the camera, the one staging our scenes, and the steady hand holding everything together behind the scenes. He’s also a personal chef with incredible skill and professionalism — his talent recently took us on an unforgettable trip to Newport and Laguna Beach to cook for a private client. 🌊🍴

Every late-night brainstorm, every booth setup, every new flavor we launch — he’s there. Quietly showing up. Constantly supporting. Always believing.

Best Buckin’ Jerky may be my dream, but he’s the reason I get to chase it full speed.

So here’s to the man behind the brand. 🤠

I wanted to share my inspiration! My grandmother’s shirt. She was funny y’all. She was a lover of flowers (a florist, I am too) she loved animals (she once gave mouth to mouth to a lizard🤪), she wore cutoffs and crop tops to the lake in her 60’s, and she made the best Nana pudding! 🐞

As a florist I have learned that ladybugs have the ability to fix your damaged garden. Nana’s signature always included a ladybug. Little did I know as a child it was there to remind us how to mend and heal. 🐞

In honor of Faye Ruth, Happy Mother’s Day, Mimi’s, Nana’s, Nonna’s, Granny’s, we love you and you always have a place in our hearts!!! 🐞
