Howdy, Walsh!

Mother's Day is coming and I am betting a few people have lost track. Should the kids just buy her something or would you rather make something with ...heart? Pun intended. The May monthly craft is here!

We got you covered. Bring the kids up to make some custom jewelry using the and we'll let you use some acrylic or basswood to make the item you want. We even have a pool of designs to choose from but you can bring your own too! PNG and SVG work best.

We also have jewelry making supplies and these can be made in minutes. One set (earrings or a larger charm, hooks and hardware included) per child please.

APRIL MONTHLY MAKE: Microgardens

Don't want to tend to a plot? Not enough time for planting? Grow a microgarden and make fresh micro greens in a matter of days. With our new Seed Library here at the Makerspace, I had seeds sprouting in less than 48 hours. All you need is sun, water and dirt. Come by, have the kids grab a planter and teach them about the cycles of nature firsthand. Even small ideas can grow great things.

Planters, seed and dirt supplied while supplies last. If you're the recycling type, bring your own container to reuse from home! Be sure to share your results with your friends, neighbors and us, of course!
