MHObA The Shaldon — 63% ABV 🇿🇦
This one deserves some attention.
Made from fresh South African estate-grown sugarcane juice, fermented for an incredible 28 days in open-air wild yeast fermentation, then distilled on a 200L pot still.
And here’s what makes this bottle even crazier: this is the first-ever MHObA bottling released in the United States.
The entire batch was only 1,000 liters, and we’re told there are now just 19 bottles remaining worldwide from this release.
At 63% ABV, this is rum in its raw, expressive form. Fresh cane. Wild fermentation. Small pot still. No playing it safe.
If you're into agricole, clairin, high-ester Jamaican rum, or just spirits that actually taste like where and how they were made, this is one worth experiencing.

A special allocated tequila drop has arrived at Liquor Library.

El Tequileño represents generations of tequila tradition from the town of Tequila, producing expressive spirits that keep cooked agave at the center. This limited Reposado Edición Especial Francés brings French oak influence to that classic foundation.

Tequila Ocho helped introduce the idea of single estate tequila, showcasing how a specific agave field and harvest can shape the final spirit. This Añejo Las Raíces 2024 Barrel Select was aged in Ferrand Cognac casks, adding another layer to Ocho’s distinctly agave driven character.

These are limited, allocated bottles and availability will not last. Stop by Liquor Library while they are still on the shelf.
