A quick update and a huge THANK YOU to our amazing customers!

Thank you for your patience with us (and our hens) through the summer heat and changing seasons.

Today, we officially welcomed 200 new hens to the farm! Our hardworking 2.5-year-old flock is retiring to enjoy life as backyard pets with local families. As our new flock gets settled, egg production will be picking right back up, and fulfillment times should improve significantly over the next few weeks.

We appreciate every single one of you!

Okay ladies we got the memo!

The hens are in the middle of their summer protest. The heat combined with this stretch of wet,humid, and cloudy days has them banding together and refusing to lay eggs at their normal rate.

They wanted to let our amazing customers know to keep in mind that until the weather stabilized and cools a bit their protest will continue. So please allow 3-5 days for order fulfillment.

First of the 2026 meat birds is going on the dinner table tonight. This one is 3 weeks early but we had a mishap and pinched one while moving birds to fresh pasture so we processed it skinless and will be making fajitas tonight
