We were fortunate enough to be able to travel out to Bryan, TX this past weekend for the annual Gene Potts Memorial SCA Cookoff. Literally just flying back from an island in the pacific as well as mom and dad not feeling the best, it was definitely a difficult trip. But this is one comp we always try to make it out to. And after the day was over we were blessed with several top 10 walks.

These two are a great combo for shrimp Alfredo. And no not the Prego or Ragu Alfredo Sauce, but the real version that calls for butter, Parmesan cheese and the noodle water to make the sauce. Southern Char Seasonings Garlic Butter Blend in the pasta and Johnny Joseph Steak rub on the shrimp.

Hey everyone! It’s getting to be that time of the year again. If anyone is interested, I’ll be selling smoked turkey breasts for Thanksgiving again this year. If you would like to have your name added to the list, let me know and I’ll get you taken care of. Turkey breasts will be $65/breast this year. These are the full size boneless breasts, not the smaller butterball breasts. Pickup will be Wednesday (Nov. 26th) afternoon/evening and we can meet you in either North Natchitoches Parish, South Bienville Parish, or Eastern Red River Parish. Cut off for ordering will be the Week before Thanksgiving.
