❓ Is your beef grass-fed?
Yes...and no. Here's what that means.
Our cattle spend the vast majority of their lives grazing on pasture and eating hay or other forages. That's how nearly all beef cattle are raised.
During the final few months before harvest, they receive a carefully balanced grain ration. This is called the finishing stage, which helps produce the tenderness, marbling, and flavor most people enjoy.
The result? Premium, grain-finished beef that's well-marbled, flavorful, and raised with quality in mind.
❓ How much does freezer beef cost?
Every ranch operates a little differently.
At CO Cattle Company, we sell beef by the ¼, ½, or Whole Beef based on the hanging weight. We also have many customers who prefer to purchase individual cuts, making it easy to enjoy our locally raised beef without purchasing a quarter, half, or whole beef.

✅ There are no surprise processing fees due at pickup.
✅ Simply pick up your professionally wrapped beef and stock your freezer.
While purchasing freezer beef is a larger upfront investment, it typically offers a better value per pound than buying the same premium cuts individually from the grocery store.

Absolutely.
Healthy cattle are our priority.
We follow a responsible herd health program to help protect our animals from preventable diseases and unnecessary suffering. Proper vaccinations and animal care help ensure healthy cattle, high-quality beef, and a safe product for your family.
