We were unable to get the farm to table dinner coordinated in a timely manner and opted to skip this year. Between me being a first time momma and the restaurant at the venue changing, we were all a bit preoccupied during our normal planning phase of the farm to table dinner. Dont fret though, we will bring it back next year! Better than ever!

In lieu of the farm to table dinner, this year's fundraiser is a series of "Farmer's Market Make-Offs"!!!

Think chili cook-off but with baked and canned goods!!

Sourdough, jam, pickles and pie!! Yum!!

So whether you're a maker or a taster, these events are for everyone!

4 make-off categories/events!
16 chance to win prizes!
50+ goodies to taste and vote on!

It's $20/category to enter as a contestant and $5/category to enter as a taster.

First event is May 23rd from 2pm-5pm!

While it is a competition with prizes, it is of course all in good fun! We'll taste delicious goodies and raise some funds along the way!

P.S. I am genuinely sorry for just now getting this message out there. Even though no one did anything wrong, truly it was just timing, it still somehow felt wrong to not do the farm to table dinner. Maybe some, or all, of you can understand that. 🫶 It took some time to find inspiration for something just as fun too! 😉 I'm so sorry we didn't do the dinner this year but I am also so excited for these new community events this year!!

It is a great weekend to get all your goodies for Mother’s Day and the flying pig festival. Retta’s Stammtisch will be fully stocked with all your favorites and I added sauerkraut to the mix. So come and you some and as always, thanks for supporting local.
