Cooked for Fedelity Bank at Rythm and Ribs. Had a good time even with a boot. Got a 6th place call. Not where we wanted to be but definitely going to be ready for Worlds.

As some of you know I had a 4wheeler accident back in August and fractured my leg, went to a follow up and the doctor said I can finally start putting weight on my leg again but have to stay in the boot. So after about 2 months of not being able to cook at competitions we are testing the waters with a local cook at the West Memphis Rythm and Ribs this weekend. Wish me luck.

Decided to load up and head to Hornersville, Mo. for the Hornersville Watermelon Festival Steak Cookoff Association cookoff Saturday. It was a great turnout, Dal Luther and Mrs. Susan Hudgins did a great job as usual. Didn't get the walks we were looking for in steaks but we did pull of a walk in Baked Beans and Ribs. Congrats to everyone that got their names called.

Dry Babyback Ribs: 6th place
Baked Beans: 5th place

Just stopped in to Big E's Meat & Seafood and picked up three of the prettiest tri-heart ribeyes for the Steak Cookoff Association Hornersville Watermelon Festival.

If you are in Memphis stop in at the Ducks Unlimited Expo and grab one of the best beverage coolers around. 2 dispensing chambers for your two favorite drinks and has a holder for those red solo cups. We take our Rowdy Coolers to every competition. Goes great with some Cane Brew Sweet Tea. Plus they are an Arkansas Company.

Last day of the DUX Expo so come out and see us. Link in bio
