Friday Night Markets are back and the vibes are unmatched! 🫶🙌

This week marks the second Friday Night Market of the season, and there are still plenty more to enjoy all summer long. Every Friday from 5:30–8:30pm in Old Town Eureka, you'll find Humboldt's largest collection of local artisans, makers, food vendors, live music, and street performances spread across multiple stages.

While you're exploring, be sure to swing by the market bar where you'll find cocktails featuring Humboldt Distillery spirits. 🍸🦀

Infusions are one of the easiest ways to bring fresh, seasonal flavor into your favorite cocktails. As gardens start filling in, many of you will soon have cucumbers, mint, berries, citrus, and other fresh ingredients growing right at home. 🌿🥒

Simply add your ingredients of choice to a jar with vodka and let it infuse until it reaches your desired flavor.

For this one, we kept it simple with a cucumber mint infusion... crisp, refreshing, and perfect for warmer days ahead. Just top with soda water and a squeeze of fresh lime for an easy cocktail that feels fresh without requiring much effort at all. 🍸✨

Since 1969, the legendary Kinetic Grand Championship has turned Memorial Day Weekend into one of the North Coast’s most unforgettable traditions. Founded by metal sculptor Hobart Brown, this wildly imaginative three-day race sends human-powered kinetic sculptures on a 50-mile journey across Humboldt County’s roads, beaches, dunes, trails, rivers, towns, and bay.

Part art piece, part engineering challenge, and part pure chaos, every kinetic sculpture brings its own personality to the course. Some glide, some wobble, some completely fall apart... but every team shows up ready to battle the elements, entertain the crowds, and push their machine to the finish line on Main Street in Ferndale.

Because at the end of the day, there’s only one reason to do it…

Bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Sweet berries meet spicy jalapeño in a Vodka Smash that seriously… smashes.

Jalapeño Blackberry Vodka Smash
*Add vodka and blackberries to a shaker. Muddle. Add fresh lime juice, jalapeño syrup, and ice - shaker vigorously. Fine strain over ice and top with club soda.

🌶 To make the jalapeño simple syrup:
*Add 2 sliced jalapeños, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup water to a medium saucepan. Heat until sugar is completely dissolved, stirring often. Let cool and strain out the jalapeños before using.
