Our business has always enjoyed welcoming students of nearby schools as valued customers. Seeing students shop, gather, and enjoy our space brings energy and excitement to our business, and we truly appreciate the positive contributions students make to our community.

However, we have recently experienced an increase in incidents of theft involving underage individuals. This is a concern not only for our business but also for the safety and well-being of everyone who visits our store. We take these matters seriously and are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all customers and staff.

We are closely monitoring incidents involving underage individuals. If theft continues, we will be implementing a policy that restricts entry for underage persons. This is not a decision we take lightly, as we genuinely enjoy having students as part of our customer base. Our hope is to continue welcoming everyone, but we must prioritize the safety and well-being of our business and community.

To the parents of the children who shop with us, please take a moment to talk with your children about the impact theft has on small businesses. Even small losses can have significant effects, making it harder for us to serve the community, provide jobs, and maintain the welcoming environment we all value. Your support in helping young people understand the consequences of their actions is crucial in keeping our store open and accessible to everyone.
