Anyone else have an LGD that takes their job so seriously that not even moles are safe? 🤦‍♀️😂

Forget the pumpkin spice. We’ve got the real seasonal fragrance over here.

THE AFTERNOON SHIFT HAS BEGUN. 🐐🐇🐓

Because apparently our farm animals did not receive the memo that Mom slept in. 😂

We're running a little behind today, but every animal still needs fed, watered and checked.

One thing I love about farm life is that the animals don't care whether you're tired, behind schedule, or having a crazy day.

They still need you.

And honestly? That's one of the best lessons farm life teaches our kids.

Responsibility doesn't disappear just because you're having a rough day.

Now excuse me while I go make sure nobody has escaped. 😂

What's the first animal you'd want to have on your own little farm?

We may not be doing farm chores this morning, but farm kids never stop learning.
Skills like responsibility, mechanics, confidence and hard work don't just happen.
That's why we love 4-H.
Who else grew up in 4-H?

A few sweet faces that still depend on us every single day.

No matter what has happened, chores still need done, babies still need fed, and life keeps moving.

Honestly, the animals have given us a reason to keep going.

Which animal would you want to take home? 🐐🐑🐓

The animals still need breakfast, even when life feels upside down.

No matter what happens, chores don't stop on a homestead.

Our kids have shown incredible resilience this week.

They've cried, laughed, sorted donations, and then headed right back out to care for the animals they love.

This lifestyle isn't always easy, but it teaches responsibility, perseverance, and gratitude in ways nothing else can.

What animal would you most want on your own homestead?
