Welcome to our nightly ** Tvati Pawty** 🐾

Since Rosa’s full CCL tear, this little ritual has become part of our everyday routine. After dinner, the pups get their Tvati massage, and lately the humans have been joining the pawty too. 😂

Rosa is 9 and recovering beautifully. Of course, healing is never just ONE thing. She eats a fresh, species-appropriate diet, gets intentional support for her joints and connective tissue, plenty of rest and rehab, and Tvati has become one of our favorite topical tools in her routine.

This last week was about **dropping the narrative and coming back to the present.** Observe. Stay curious. Be cautious when needed. Dream about the future. But don’t let the story in your head take you away from what your animal is actually showing you right now.

Our animals are incredible teachers of presence. Maybe we can learn to meet them there. 🐾

Little Miss Rosa is officially starting physical therapy. 🐾💗 And apparently she and Bobby needed matching goggles for laser therapy. 😂

At almost 10 years old, keeping this girl “resting” after her ACL injury has NOT been easy. Since ditching processed food for fresh, species-appropriate nutrition, she honestly thinks she’s a puppy again.

Now we’re focusing on keeping her strong, preventing muscle loss, protecting those other little legs, and supporting her body as she grows into a healthy senior lady. Her PT includes a whole range of therapies, including laser therapy, and we’re excited to see what it can do for her.

And pet parents, we get it. Integrative care and rehabilitation are expensive. Even with nonprofits and programs that supposedly offer assistance, that help isn’t always as accessible as it sounds. Every penny counts, and sometimes… thank goodness for credit cards. 😅

Rosa will be Bobby’s first dog to reach 10 years old in Jan. She was our first baby and has spent nearly a decade as an incredible little 9-pound service dog giving so much to us and others.

Now it’s our turn to give back to her. 💗

Here’s to stronger little legs and many more adventures, Miss Rosa. 🐾
