First day of harvest. Due to this summer's extreme heat we have some very early grapes. We hand pick ripe ones and leave others for the remainder of September. Perfectly ripe grapes makes the best wine. Cheers.

Happy Thursday from my office with a view. You can tell it's harvest time whenever these beautiful orb spiders build webs in the vineyard. This is a natural, highly efficient method of insect control. We do not spray any chemicals in our vineyard and the result is a well balanced ecosystem. Cheers.
