I'm very pleased with my latest lettuce planting's germination! Look how thick these rows are. 🤩
I'm trying my hardest to catch up to the unusually high demand for local lettuce due to the cyclosporiasis parasite plaguing some shipped lettuces.
Problems with the big food supply chain like this makes me so thankful for the veggies that I grow and the local supply chain for meats, fruit, etc. that we have in Michigan.

Thanks to a fellow farmer for this tip! I took a blacklight out to the tomato patch last night and found a whole bunch of hornworms! These nasty buggers are so hard to find typically, but in the blacklight they were lit up like a Christmas tree! Too cool! Thank you Bear Creek Farm !!
