Some little girls argue about toys and some argue about whether or not they’re gonna feed their horses big square bales or round bales 🤷‍♂️ We are not the same (we don’t even have horses 😂)

9 feet at a a time on 40 acres makes for a lot of passes! But I got some good bonding time in with one of my sidekicks tonight and she was pretty excited that we got to get the drone out too 😁😁

Yesterday I left the house to get ONE calf and some calf hutches. I accidentally returned home with THREE calves and some calf hutches 😬 Hate when that happens!

The girls have seen hundreds of new calves over the years with varying amount of excitement, but I can say with 100% certainty that tonight was the most excited we’ve ever seen them 😍 Tonight was the first time we had a new baby that was born right here on the farm!! Say hello to Mac (short for Mac n cheese). He’s a Jersey beef cross and he’s already HUGE! Stella did great and didn’t need our help at all 😁 What an exciting night in the Halfman house 🥰

Having a hard time getting your kids out of bed early?? Tell them they can help swing gates for scraping AND you’ll let them drink as much milk as they want after they’re done 😂 I wonder how long this form of bribery will work 🤔
