We love working with DIYers here at Glass House Flower Farm, and nothing brings me quite as much joy as when our brides send receipts.

Mackenzie took home our first peony bucket of the season and was kind enough to show us how it turned out! Isn’t it gorgeous??

Congratulations Mackenzie and thank you for supporting our farm 🥰🥰🥰

Why does planting take so long, you ask? Let me introduce Tarzan, our Director of Wildlife Management. We adopted Tarzan from the Huron Valley Humane Society’s barn cat adoption program where he was described as “the spiciest barn cat we’ve ever seen”.

Fast forward four years and the only “feral” thing about Zanny is that he will give you a chomp if he feels ignored. He’s also not that interested in being a barn cat. He prefers the garden, where you’ll usually find him snoozing beneath the hostas or trying to camouflage into the mulch. He also excels at plunking himself in my planting holes and rolling on my seedlings 🌱

I’ve been waiting two years to catch a glimpse of this beauty and it was well worth the wait ✨

Do Tell is a slower growing peony variety in our field and just finally put up its first few buds. I can’t wait to see this one once it fully matures.
