Maija's Families Foods My inspiration is my family's farm heritage an European roots. I enjoy sharing my passion for baking GF* and Vegan options are available.

We bake and distribute/sell at local farmers' markets, Festivals, and Online markets, as well as provide local catering, and we ship special orders throughout the United States. We are known for various dessert bread, pound cakes, Vegan Focaccia, mini focaccia, cornbreads, and muffins, assorted rustic bread, Shortbreads, cookies, brownie bites, brownie pops, Chocolate Dipped Rice Crispy Treats, Chocolate Dipped Pretzels, Chocolate Dipped Oreos, Chocolate Bark with nuts and dried fruits, Cholate Spoons, and assorted Chocolate and fruit tarts, using quality ingredients locally sourced when possible. In addition to our baked goods, we also sell gourmet compound butters which are a mixture of butter whipped with various sweet and/or savory ingredients. Our gourmet compound butters easily enhance the flavor of bread, muffins, pancakes, waffles, meats, chicken, fish, vegetables, burgers, pasta, and more!

*our GF products are made with gluten-free ingredients, but not in a gluten free kitchen.

Tomorrow, Sunday, we will be at the Cary Winter Farmer's Market from 9AM - 1PM. New in 2025 are German Style Apple and Blueberry Strudel. We will also have Salted Caramel Apple Pies, "Elvis' Peanut Butter Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips, Banana Walnut Bread, Double Chocolate Brownies, Walnut Double Chocolate Brownies, Pistachio Shortbread Cookies. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread, Double Chocolate Chip Cookies with Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate Chips, and Caramel Espresso Almond Shortbread Cookies. Today, Sunday is the season's final summer Cary Farmer's Market. Please note that we will be in the BMO Harris parking lot from 9-12 today, starting next month, in October, the Cary Winter Farmer's Market will be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at the Algonquin Township building indoors. Today we have Cinnamon Pumpkin Bread, Strawberry Banana Bread, Peanut Butter Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips, Lemon Blueberry Puff Pastry Purses, Salted Apple Puff Pastry Purses, Orange Cranberry Shortbread, Pistachio Shortbread, Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pumpkin Snickerdoodles, and more!
