Hey everybody, I know it's been awhile. We have had a lot going on family wise. However I'm going to start posting again so those that want to follow along certainly can.

It's that time of the year again, apples are falling in the breeze so that means it's time for home made apple pies and apple juice. I've been cutting oak on the sawmill lately with Caleb and Nick Benjamin We are making an apple press from raw log to finished apple press. I'll keep you updated on the progress as we make it, we have a good start, all of our boards are cut I just have to plane them down to their finished sizes. As you can see the pigs ( clean up crew ) in the distance are always ready for apples to be tossed their direction.

Today will be the last and final day of cooking maple syrup for 2026. Yesterday started at about 8:00 a.m. and concluded at 3:00 a.m. All we have remaining is about 65 gallons of sap and that's down from 308 gallons just 2 days ago.
