We are sadden by the death of our beloved pet, Pandy. She was suffering from seizures, so Ann decided she was ready to go play with our other departed pets at the Rainbow Bridge! She will be missed very much! She was almost 16 years old. A good life!

Thank you everyone who has come to visit our farm, over the 16 years we have been in business! Ann and I are getting out of the business commercially, but will still maintain and keep 5 of our alpacas for our own use. We will continue to do the Farm Market, in Superior for one more season 2022. We will also have socks, yarn, furry critters, and other things for spinners and knitters, and for people who do felting! Feel free to give us a call with items you would like to purchase, and we will be happy to have you come to the farm to purchase anything, or just a visit with the alpacas we have.
We will be at the Superior Fair Grounds on December 11th, from 9AM till 4PM, with alpaca socks, yarn, critters (stuffed), etc. So please come visit us there! It will be in the 4H building, cause there is to much ice in the curling club. Haha 🤣🤣😂👨🧑 Thanks.

We are sorry to say we lost Fallon yesterday, to what we think was a heart attack. Ann fed her her pellets and locked her in the stall like always to keep the others from eating her food. When Ann went to let her out (5 minutes) she was dead. It happened so fast, that we think it was a massive heart attack. No symptoms, she just past quickly. She did not suffer at all as it was so quick. She will be sadly missed here at the farm!😢😢😢

Just a note to say all is well here on the farm! Staying close to home till Joe gets this thing under control. As I hope he will. He's a good man and has a great woman by his side! Give thanks for what we have, and here's hoping 2021 will be a better year! Stay safe, and God Bless all my Friends and Family!

Neither rain, snow, wind or heat kept my Lovely Guests from coming out to our farm this weekend. A wonderful bunch of people! Thanks everyone for coming out! Hope you all had fun, I know we did!

Hoping this snow does not discourage anyone from coming to shearing on Tuesday the 21st, as I'm sure it will all be melted by then! Anyway please wear adequate boots, as it will be muddy. I know we'll have enough food for all, but would like to know about how many people will come, so please email Ann or I if you can make it. We always have enough food, but don't want to run short! I have a feeling the weather will get much nicer by Tuesday, but if it doesn't, "Oh well" the "show must go on". Thanks all, hope to see as many of you that can make it Tuesday! I think you'll have some fun.

Just a little reminder about shearing for this year. It will be on May21st at 3:00 PM. Hope to see as many fans, helpers, spectators, and well wishers as possible. It will be a fun time, with food and goodies for all! Kids welcome, but must be supervised at all times, cause it gets pretty hairy when one of the big guys doesn't want to be sheared. Not dangerous, but little ones could get hurt if they get in the way. Come for the shearing, stay for the food! Ha Ha Ha.

Here are a few pictures of the deer in our yard that is only about 20 feet from our back door. Such beautiful animals. Also have a roaster pheasant and his mate come in every day. I sure love my animals.

We got our shearing date for this year! It will be May 21st, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. I would like to invite all you people who would like to watch or help, to our farm on this date. Our address is 6106 S. Dedham Rd. Foxboro, Wisconsin. Take County Highway 35 (Tower Ave) out of Superior, and go south to Pattison Park. Just past the park is County Rd. B. Take this west for about 3.5 miles till you see our sign, and turn right ( only way you can) go 3/4 mile and you are here. We will serve refreshments (sloppy Joes), and soda, water, coffee, and a few other goodies. If you have been to our shearings in the past, you know you won't go home hungry. I'm getting older ( nearing 80 ), so can't handle the big guns. If your strong, and willing to face danger LOL, I need you! Please let Ann or myself know if you can make it, even if just to watch, so we'll know how much food to prepare. Thanks a bunch!

All's well here at DCFA! No more cold, snow, rain, or sleet. For now. LOL. We haven't heard from our shearer yet, so don't know an exact date for shearing. I have a call in to my "Man", so as soon as I find out a target date, I'll get it out to all my loyal fans and make a note on the calendar. Keep watching DCFA web site, or Facebook, and please "like us". Thanks to all!
