Our Story

Muzinda Farms is an emerging venture focused on socially engaged and embedded agriculture. Our site is 32 acres of pasture, field, forest, and orchard located in Foxworth, MS. Muzinda Farms operates from a Gulf South regional perspective that centers sustainability and justice - food justice, racial justice, and rural justice. Our long term objectives include a non-profit center to provide access to fresh locally sourced produce, a Lavender Farm, open-pollinated seed sales, and writer’s retreat to serve communities in rural Mississippi.
