Founded in 2011 by three brothers, Jack, Eric, and Sam Hendler, Jack’s Abby has become a mainstay of the craft brewing scene in the Northeast and nationwide. Born in the high alps of Bavaria over 200 years ago, lagers became a beloved brew all across Europe. Lagers feature a distinctive smoothness and fullness that no other beer has and we think everyone deserves.

Since 2011, OUT MetroWest has grown alongside the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and families across the region, evolving from a single high school meetup into more than 25 programs and events each month. Today, their impact reaches hundreds through youth programming, community events, education sessions, and a permanent home in Framingham built around connection, support, and belonging.

To celebrate Pride and support that mission, we created House of Pride. 🌈 For every pour sold, 10% of proceeds will go directly to OUT MetroWest, helping fund more programs, more resources, and more spaces where q***r youth can feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Welcome to Jack's!

If you’ve been around Jack’s Abby long enough, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Joe. Over the past 10 years, he’s worn just about every hat possible - from People Ops, to Sales, to director of Springdale (RIP), and now Senior Director of Production. Safe to say, he knows this place inside and out.

When he’s not in the brewery, you’ll probably find Joe watching Liverpool matches, playing sax with his ska band, or talking lager with just about anyone willing to listen. After 10 years at Jack’s Abby, he can't pick a favorite beer, saying it’s “like choosing between the kids.” Joe also helped co-write Modern Lager Beer, helping shape the lager-forward philosophy that continues to drive everything we do today.

10 years in and still hustling harder.
