We have craft beer, draft beer, cocktails! Gift baskets for special occasions & corporate gifting. Kernel Benny's Kettle Corn and Specialty Popcorn actually started in 2010 as part of a home school curriculum. Ben Robertson is actually the "Kernel" In 2003, Ben sustained a head injury that placed certain limitations on him and traditional school and employ ability were two of them. This business s

tarted under using Michigan Cottage Law to create event specific sugar cookies and specialty flavored popcorn of which we now have over a dozed different flavors.. The kettle corn concession was purchased in 2015 and is a fully licensed STFU and is available for all special community events, festivals, concert venues, high school athletics, sporting events, fundraisers and many more. We have specialty flavors that can be specifically packaged for your special occasions as well, such as weddings, showers, private parties, business parties and promotions etc. We have over a dozen different flavors at present and they can be found on this page and on our website: www.kernelbenny.com

We can't wait to close the summer local vocals with you... the patio will remain open and we will surprise you from time to time, but this is the last scheduled event. It's time for school, the evenings get shorter and cooler and well.... it's just time.

September will still be fun though!!! We have lots to look forward to.

So... we had one of those days. The kind where everything is going great, you are ahead of schedule... and the bottom drops out.

UNFORTUNATELY the speedway cancelled the races this evening due to weather coming in just around start time.

HOWEVER, we had just finished spinning all the cotton candy for the evening. I have 40 bags of beautiful cotton candy that will not last.

I will have it in the storefront for 5.00 per bag or 5 bags for 20.00! These are nice BIG bags.

I am looking at this as an opportunity to take 100% of the proceeds from this cotton candy and donate it to our non-profit, IC3. We do such a beautiful job spinning it and I hate to see it go to waste.

Should you see this as an opportunity to do something nice for someone else, shout out... I'm happy to sell you as many as you would like.

Our non-profit exists to build a safe, affordable, neuro-inclusive neighborhood for people living with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities). I would love to tell you all about it, please feel free to ask.

Well, another "You Got Served" event is in the books for 2026.
We would like to thank Frankenmuth Bible Church for allowing our little storefront to participate in an evening of fellowship over a summer "cool treat"

What a joy it is to be blessed with something as simple as ice cream and good friends, two things we should recognize as gifts.

No one worked for the treat, earned the reward, or paid a price. It was a free gift given out of kindness and joy for everyone to enjoy together. Hmmmm........sounds familiar.....

Like they used to say in our year books "Stay Cool" See you next time!
