Looking for something interesting and fun to do this weekend? Come to Michigan's Little Bavaria this weekend in Frankenmuth and enjoy all there is to experience! Kernel Benny's Popcorn will be set up in front of the Lager Mill, located near the river, where they are doing the ice carving. We will be popping our kettle corn and Harvest Coffee House will be sharing a tent with us. We will have three of your favorites all located in one easy stop. The Lager Mill carries over 500 types of craft beer and the staff there can help you select the tastes you will like the best. Harvest Coffee House has the best coffee in town, hands down! They will also be serving hot chocolate and if you have experienced our kettle corn, then you know what you know what a fantastic bag of pop corn you will get and if you haven't, please visit our red tent. FYI.... there will be two of us kettle corn vendors in town this weekend. We are NOT located near the warming tent. We are located in the parking lot at the Frankenmuth Lager Mill. For all of my facebook friends who have been following me on facebook as The Cookie Rookie: I would like to invite you to Like my new page: Kernel Benny's Popcorn. I am not necessarily giving up my event specific sugar cookies, but I am going to be focusing more on developing my popcorn business. After market ends in a couple of weeks, I will be moving into the Artisan/Licensed kitchen at the Frankenmuth Farmer's Market to develop an online and in-store version of my many flavors of popcorn. I will be available for Thanksgiving and Christmas orders and would appreciate it if you would continue to order in the usual fashion until I get everything updated and ready to go. I realize it has been a while since i have posted anything. It was a very busy year and i am thankful for that. I would like to thank all of you who have place orders with me this past year. During 2015, i purchased a kettle corn concession, a cheddar cheese tumbler, and some kitchen tools to make my jobs a little easier. I would like to expand my popcorn business this year at the Frankenmuth Farmer's Market and will keep you notified of that. The maket opens in May and graduations and summer events will soon be upon us. Can't wait to see you all at the market.

I am firing up my cheddar cheese tumbler today for cheese popcorn. I will be making many varieties of popcorn over the next couple of weeks. If you would like some, they make great employee/employer, teacher, hostess, classroom treats, or just as an addition to any party. Here are some of my other flavors: Classic Caramel, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Smore's, Scotcheroo, Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Christmas Holiday Mix, Caramel Cheddar Mix, Toasted Coconut, Dark Chocolate Clementine and I know there is more.

Only a few short weeks left before the Christmas season. I will be popping my specialty flavord popcorn again and will be available in holiday nesting boxes for 22.00. I had to cut my sugar cookie baking short this year due to our schedule, but I would have time to make specialty popcorn in any flavor you wish for your Thanksgiving weekend. It makes a great hostess gift and munchie during the game. Some popular flavors for the weekend are: Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Spice, Pumpkin Spice, Espresso, and Classic Caramel.
