We now have manure flowing into our new second manure pit. The second manure pit will allow us to decrease the number of times per year we have to haul manure on our fields which does increase the odor around the farm which we try to limit. Also we can be even better stewards of the land by being able to apply the nutrients in the manure to the crops when they are able to use them sooner after we apply them.
